15 years ago I started as a midwife in my hometown of Lelystad and worked in the Flevopolder for a long time. Since 2017 moved to Nieuwegein because I wanted to live closer to family. Since then I have enjoyed working at the Lekbrug as a midwife and ultrasound technician. In addition you can come to me for an IUD or hormone rod and I like to supervise students and centering pregnancy groups. I’m a big formula 1 fan, you won’t see me at a race Sunday anytime soon and I’m in the gym regularly. I love going out with my 2 nephews, love a party and can’t fall asleep without a reading book.
Midwifery remains an incredibly beautiful profession. Meeting different people, each with her own story remains incredibly fun. I always feel privileged to be present at such a special period in someone’s life.
