Let me introduce myself…
My name is Bente, and I’ll soon be starting with great enthusiasm at De Lekbrug Verloskundigen. After previously working in Haarlem and Amsterdam, I recently moved to the cozy neighborhood of Lombok in Utrecht. I live there with my partner and our two cats.

Twelve years ago, I became a big sister, and from that moment on, my interest in midwifery began to grow. How amazing is it that a tiny human being grows and is born?
What I love about this profession is that I get to support women and their partners in discovering their own strength. I find it important to get to know you and to find a path together that suits you. I believe that a positive and safe experience starts with listening, tuning in, and building trust.

In my free time, I enjoy walking in the forest, playing board games with friends and family, and enjoying good food. I also love going to concerts now and then.
